Each suite at Tanda Tula is positioned to overlook the Nhlaralumi riverbed, with sliding glass doors and canvas walls that flood the interiors with natural light and seamlessly bring the magic of the outside in.

Design reflects the beauty of the bush, with shades and textures inspired by the landscape — deep aubergine, textured wood, and intricate patterns of Tsonga tradition. Contemporary local art and fine linens complete the sense of effortless luxury.

Our seven Safari Suites are private sanctuaries featuring a spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom, and a lounge, with an outdoor deck and private plunge pool ideal for relaxing or taking in the views.

My wife and I stayed in 5 camps/lodges on our trip to Southern Africa (our first visit to Africa). Tanda Tula was our first, and it was the best accommodations of all five. This would be a great way to end a trip to Africa on a luxurious note.

We have had two previous safaris in Botswana which were fabulous but hadn’t seen Rhino. We wanted to back to Botswana with our special friends but add on a trip to SA to specifically see Rhino as well as see what else SA has to offer. We weren’t disappointed ….. the camp was amazing with luxurious spacious room with all you could want …. Plunge pool, outside shower, own bar, kettle for hot drinks as well as wood burning stove for those cold winter nights.
