Jack is a man who has grown up listening and understanding the African wilderness, reading the tracks and signals just as a city dweller would read street signs. Walking with him in the Greater Kruger Park is a true privilege, he carries the incredibly rare and respected Master Tracker qualification.
This makes him one of very few individuals who is able to track animals, birds and insects better than anyone else on earth. To be able to be with him on foot while following a dangerous animal is an absolute privilege.
This video gives you brief insight as to what it is like to track a white rhino, the most endangered of the Big Five, with Jack through the Timbavati. The way in which he reads the bush signs, understands the animal and can follow its behaviour is absolutely amazing. We are so proud to have this astonishing man with this incredible talent as part of the Tanda Tula family.
