A letter from your Tanda Tula family

Things are a little slower than expected around Tanda Tula Safari Camp.As the world comes together, but stays a safe distance apart, we find ourselves asking so many questions, trying to breath in the quiet from the wild spaces around us, and yet at the same time, we are incredibly saddened with the reality of what is happening in our beautiful country and all around the globe.

We miss our busy camp, seeing the familiar faces of return guests while enjoying the smiles and laughter of new ones, and we know how hard it must be for those of you who have had to delay your safari getaways. So, we want you to know that we are going to do our best to bring the Tanda Tula experiences to you in your homes, wherever you are, through our various social media platforms.

We will keep you updated on what is happening in the Timbavati-the animals in our wilderness continue to go about their lives and hopefully this can bring some joy to those of us whose lives have been paused in many ways. Our blogs are produced by a number of talented in house contributors, they tell us funny stories and dazzle us with incredibly beautiful images, most of you know and love Chad and Luke. Britt will continue to create her amazing videos delivering a virtual safari experience to you through the web, and our Instagram page will be updated daily to keep you in touch and make sure your passion for Africa stays ignited.

Through these turbulent times we want you to know that our focus remains on our team who make up the Tanda Tula Family, and the conservation of our wildlife and preservation of our environment. This is the essence of what we do, it is why we are in the safari business and it is the reason we will all get thorough this. Our love and passion will drive us all to come out the other side.

We have actioned many precautions within camp for those of you who are already travelling in South Africa and who cannot change your travel plans. We have also adjusted our terms and conditions for guests who need to defer their bookings, and we have some incredible specials running, so keep your eye on our website.

In the meantime, try to be still and mindful, enjoy the small things, appreciate the slowness that time can offer and take this opportunity to reconnect with yourself and your loved ones. We will do the same in camp, and promise to stay connected, but we cannot wait to embrace you physically once again.

Love,
Your Tanda Tula Family
