The last few days have delivered some wonderfully well-needed rains.
We had just over 90mm for the week which was eagerly soaked up by the surrounding bush. Our guests did manage to get out yesterday evening and even fitted in a beautiful sunset between showers.
We saw a fantastic large herd of buffalo feeding in the late afternoon light, just a beautiful scene! The big cats also graced us with their presence with excellent sightings of both leopard and mating lion.
Elephant herds have been a bit scarce of late but there have been a number of large bulls around, one in particular took an interest in our game viewer and moved in for a closer look.
