Summer Packing list:
- In general, neutral clothing colours are recommended when on game drives and walks
- Light pullover / jersey in case of the odd cool evening or rainy weather
- Windbreaker or light jacket in case of rainy weather
- Cap or Sunhat
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Open sandals or “flip-flops” for those hot days
- Swimming trunks
- Sunglasses
- Sunscreen
- Binoculars, Camera and / or Video Camera
Winter Packing list:
- In general, neutral clothing colours are recommended when on game drives and walks
- Light pullover / jersey
- Heavy pullover or “zip-up” fleece
- Warm winter jacket
- Cap or Sunhat
- Warm winter hat or “beanie”
- Thick winter socks
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Open sandals or “flip-flops” for those warmer days
- Swimming trunks (it does sometimes get warm enough to swim in winter)
- Sunglasses
- Sunscreen
- Binoculars, Camera and / or Video Camera
Please note that the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve is situated within a low risk malaria area. It is recommended that guests consult their physician/travel clinic regarding easily administered malaria prophylaxis before embarking on any safari travel to South Africa.
