LOCORES tackles rhino poaching and management

HOEDSPRUIT – The next Lowveld Coordinated Research Forum (LOCORES) meeting will be held on Friday, September 30 at Southern Cross Schools and will coincide with the annual Sustainable Living Festival that weekend.

The focus of this LOCORES meeting will be rhino poaching and rhino management and will be crucial for all land owners and land managers in the region – whether they have rhino or not – to attend. Everyone is welcome.

The organizers are securing a number of leading authorities who will talk about the various resources and opportunities available in this regard. The meeting will be followed by a facilitated brainstorming session on how a unified, coordinated and cohesive strategy can be established to deal with the problem in the greater region.
