Blog: Sightings

Game viewing over the last week has been fantastic

Our predators have been taking full advantage of all the young impala around. We have had wild dog hunting throughout our traversing area sometimes killing up to four young impala in a morning! The white lion pride has also been sighted on a regular basis and are also doing very well.

Leopard have proved rather elusive over the last week as the weather conditions have made tracking these solitary animals a bit of a challenge. We were however treated to a wonderful sighting of the Ntombi female and her cub a couple days ago.

The young male cub is growing up fast and was sporting a small gash on his left flank which could have been a run in with a warthog.
The wound looks superficial and we expect him to make a full recovery; he would have learnt a very valuable lesson though.
