Useful Information

Tanda Tula Field Camp, an exclusive-use only camp, operates from 01 March to 31 October outside of the wet season. This Field Camp safari is ideal for adventurous travellers who enjoy walking and the outdoors.

Enjoy the romance of an electricity free environment with only the use of oil and solar lanterns creating a warm old-world atmosphere.

The interior of each 3m x 4m tent is equipped with two single campaign style beds, comfortable mattresses and linen, two luggage racks, bed side tables, solar lanterns and large storage boxes for your personal items.

Attached to the back of each tent is an open air and private bush bathroom with a hot water shower, eco-loo and wash basin. Everything is mobile and portable, so nothing is permanent and therefore very environmentally friendly. Due to the exposure to the bush and wildlife, no children under the age of 12 are allowed.

The Field Camp can accommodate a maximum of 8 guests, and a minimum of 2 guests needs to be booked for the field camp to be operational. For groups larger than 8, special arrangements can be made. Please enquire with reservations for such bookings
