Travel Tip: New Immigration Regulations For South Africa Made Easy

We know that many families are planning their holidays to South Africa and will be travelling with their children. Hopefully you have already been informed by your local Embassies, and Visa Application offices, of the new regulations for travelling with children to South Africa, which come into effect on 1 June 2015. The South African Department of Home Affairs have recently published an "easy to follow" brochure giving all the requirements for parents travelling with children.

We thought it would be useful to give you all access to this brochure to ensure that you have the information you need to ensure that your trip with your children goes smoothly. Please find access to the attached PDF file below, which outlines all you need to know about the new travel regulations. We hope this will be of value to all of our family guests, and we wish you all safe travels.

These new requirements include:

1. Parents must produce an unabridged birth certificate of the child reflecting the particulars of the parents of the child.

2. Adopted children to provide proof of adoption by means of an adoption certificate

Please ensure that you have the necessary documents when you embark on your travels to South Africa. For more information of these requirements you can view the New Immigration Regulations leaflet here:
