Through the Eyes of a Zebra

Did you know that Zebra's eyesight is almost identical to ours?

Amongst their herbivore counter parts they posses the best view of their world, along with the giraffe. Unlike humans, Zebras do not see in colour, ironically theirs is a world seen in black and white, just like their stripes! Generally zebras prefer open areas in which to live so the importance of their eyesight is high.

Interestingly, their vision in the dark is far superior to us humans, obviously this helps to keep them relatively safe from predators during the long fearful nights!
