Tanda Tula Iced Coffee

Although the change of season is definitely upon us with the cooler evenings arriving earlier and the start of darker mornings setting in, afternoon tea on the deck still calls for an iced drink. Tanda Tula's iced coffee has a reputation that precedes itself, chocolaty and creamy smooth with that definite caffeine kick what better way to start your afternoon safari?

Here is Tanda Tula's famous iced coffee recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 3 heaped tbs good quality coffee granules
  • 3 heaped tbs hot chocolate powder
  • 2 tbs honey
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 250 ml cream
  • ice
  • 1 litre milk

Method:

  1. Place coffee, hot chocolate, honey and vanilla essence in a jug with the boiling water.
  2. Stir well until all the ingredients have dissolved. Add the cream and mix.
  3. Add the milk and place in the fridge until ready to serve. Serve with lots of ice in tall glasses.
