Most people roll their eyes at the thought of making their own bread, but not with this recipe. This super delicious seed loaf is so easy to make that you can whip it up in a few minutes and impress all your friends with “and I made it myself”. Better than the fact that this bread is so easy peasy to make, it is incredibly healthy and extremely delicious. So whether you toast it and have it for breakfast topped with poached eggs or for afternoon tea with some strawberry jam you have to give it a bash.

Health seed loaf 

500g Cake Flour
200g Oats
150g Sunflower Seeds
100g All Bran Flakes
100g Linseed
100g Sesame Seeds
100g Digestive Bran
100g Corn Flour
100g Hemp Seeds
1ltr Plain Yoghurt
6 tbs Sunflower Oil
6 tbs Honey
2 tsp Bicarb of Soda
2 tsp Maldon Sea Salt
4 tbs Molasses

1. Pre heat the oven to 180ᵒC.
2. In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together (do not mix in the bicarb of soda).
3. In a separate bowl, mix all the wet ingredients together along with the bicarb of soda.
4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well.
5. Divide the bread mixture between 2 greased bread loaf tins.
6. Bake for 30 minutes.
7. Turn down the oven temperature to 150ᵒC.
8. Bake for a further 1 hour.
9. Remove from the oven and allow the bread to cool before unmoulding from the bread tins.
