Mochachino: Tanda Tula style

Bush breakfast has a whole new incredible appeal. If you have not tried one of Vusi’s unbelievably delicious mochachinos then you have not had a true coffee experience!

If you don’t have a sweet tooth though, this might not be your morning brew. The combination of chocolate, cream and marshmallows make it completely delicious but also totally decadent. A little like a grown up milkshake.

Here’s a rough guide of what goes into this hot cup of deliciousness. There is no real recipe, just a concept. You can make it to your own liking! But be prepared, it should come with a cholesterol warning!


  • 1 shot strong espresso
  • 2 heaped tablespoons hot chocolate
  • whipped cream
  • ginger biscuit, crumbled
  • marshmallow


Stir the chocolate powder into the hot espresso mixture until dissolved and top with whipped cream. Then add the marshmallow and crumbled biscuit. Take a kitchen blow torch and gently toast the marshmallow until it turns golden. Serve... and melt with pleasure!
