Leopards steal the show

The last few days delivered some wonderful viewing opportunities.

We were spoilt for choice when it came to leopard viewing and had the privilege to see not one but three different females and their cubs around our safari camp. The Rockfig female's last surviving cub is doing very well and is growing by the day. The Marula female continues to impress with her first litter of two doing exceptionally well. Both females are photographed below.

Elephants were seen throughout the traversing area and we even managed to see a herd taking a snooze in the riverline above camp.

We have two species of jackal in the region and I managed to capture an image of the slightly larger Side-striped Jackal as it foraged through a burnt area of veld.

All in all another fantastic weekend.
