Safari Sundowners

One of the great traditions when going on safari is the sundowner stop. After a couple of hours of sitting on the back of a vehicle, perhaps facing a few bouncy, dusty roads, it is time to stretch your legs and quench your thirst.

These stops are always welcomed - a well-earned break from a busy drive and great game viewing, to enjoy an ice cold drink and watching a memorable African sunset.

Sometimes there are unexpected visitors that like to join, but mostly it is an opportunity to stand around and chat to your guide while enjoying a beverage. No wonder it has become such an anticipated tradition.
