A morning fry-up

The best thing about Tanda Tula bush breakfast is, well, the breakfast!

Yes, the setting is gorgeous, the surrounding trees imposing and romantic, the animals walking past enchanting, but it really is the large black pans bubbling over the open fire that makes this such a unique eating experience.

The dishes are unexpected and delicious, from creamy chicken livers to corn fritters. All of this accompanied by the accustomed eggs and bacon.

This morning one of the specials was fried haddock with crispy onions. Not what you expect for breakfast in a dry riverbed in the middle of Africa, but from the guest’s empty plates it was obviously a huge success and will be on the menu again soon.
